Diane Von Furstenberg came to Dallas…and we had breakfast! Oh, so did 50 other of Dallas’ fabulous fashionistas and it was all for a good cause: helping raise awareness for AIDS research through AmFar. Diane premiered her Resort 2014 Collection and had the people of Highland Park Village a buzz. Come inside with me for a peak of what it was all about!
It all happened here at the DVF store in Highland Park. Me dressed in my favorite leather and lace DVF Fall 2013 dress with my trusty Loubs, came to meet the one and only, Diane Von Furstenberg!
Inside I was greeted by the gorgeous, glamorous and gracious designer who not only advocates for fabulous fashion, but more importantly for AIDS research. Dressed to perfection, both of us in DVF, me with a day time pop of orangey -red lip to keep it light, sipped on orange juice and took in the new collection.
The sole store in Dallas, Diane exclusively said she loves coming here, “because the prettiest women of the World live here” and they were thrilled to see the taste maker in the flesh.
Diane spoke eloquently and expressed her passion for AmFar and urged people to shop, with all the proceeds benefiting the cause!
The collection was bold and bright, perfect for a getaway. Greens and Blues were the colors of choice and they sure made a statement. The strong and powerful colors echoed the traits Diane represents and how she likes to dress her women.
Printed bags and pops of purple were also a huge focus! I snagged the Cheetah!
Her bright signature scarves hung around the room as the crowd congregated!
The room was vibrant and energetic and full of fun!
I was honored to meet someone I admire and I respect and she was everything I thought she’d be and more! Cheers, Diane!
