Last night my dinner plans took place at the roof top of the London Hotel in West Hollywood. The wind was blowing, the weather was beautiful and my date for the evening: just a little brand named Guess and a magazine you may know of as Harper’s Bazaar! Don’t worry, I took photos of the whole thing! Take a look!
I arrived wearing, Marciano of course! Marciano, Guess’ sister line, geared more for a night out and full of fancy frocks, has a sexy overtone with a hip and edgy flare. I chose this leather dress with laser cut outs. It is fun and fashionable without being over the top.
I added my “go-to” shoes: Christian Lubes and my Diane Von Furstenberg clutch for a little color and style. My hair was down and natural and I kept my make up simple. It’s a girl’s dinner; keeping it easy and relatable is the best choice for this type of setting.
Also attending was the new Creative Designer of Guess, Sharleen Ernster Lazeer, who comes to Guess after leaving her premiere position at Victoria Secret and Chief Executive Editor of Harper’s Bazaar, Avirl Graham.
After cocktails and photos we took a seat at this gorgeous table for dinner and design talk!
Each seat was perfectly set, with our names and menus and a branded place mat!
Seated next to Avril, we discussed our love for fashion and film. She started the evening off, welcoming Sharleen and praising her creative talents and asking for hints of what we can expect from her first collection this upcoming Fall.
Sharleen was tight lipped about the collection, but not of her excitement. One thing for sure is, it was a night to remember with a collection to wait for!
