Last night the 63rd Emmys were being celebrated and I wanted to get in in the action! I headed to the HBO party at the Pacific Design Center where the celebration continued!
Jesse and I glammed up for the occasion. He wore Marc Jacobs and I wore vintage Norrell. This beaded gold long sleeved gown made me feel sexy and like an Emmy myself.
I borrowed this hard to find frock from the fabulous Cameron Silver who ones the best vintage store around: Decades. If you want high end couture vintage this is the place to go! DISCLOTHED it to me!
I decided to pay homage to the 60s with a bouffant bun. I had my make up artist, Brittnay Spyksma smoke out my eye in brown and keep the focus there with a coral lip. Add a gold clutch and nude nails. Ta-da!
The smokey brown makes your face look less harsh and more sultry. When you have a dress like this, you want to keep everything else more subdued. I added done Art Deco earrings for pop around the face.
What do you think of my look?
