Cleaning Out Your Closet!

While summer temps are still raging in LA, we can’t ignore the fact that Labor Day Weekend has come and gone, signaling the end of summer. With every season change, I’m prompted to go through my closet and make room for all my favorites that have been in storage for the past couple months. For me, transitioning from summer to fall is all about taking advantage of items you’ve forgot you owned, finding new and innovative ways to wear your summer favorites and bring in pieces to make them all relevant again.

When temperatures officially drop, don’t be afraid to pair a sweater over your white eyelet midi dress last worn on the 4th of July or try pairing a lace crop top with suede over the knee boots. I love the mix of transitional pieces to avoid getting lost in all the fall sales!

Top Tricks for Closet Organization:

  2. Arrange by sleeve length
  3. Try using the type of hangers to give your closet a cohesive look – I prefer felt covered hangers in black or tan.
