Contradiction is a combination of ideas that are opposed to one another. Just because we think things should be a certain way, doesn’t mean it has to be. This is applicable even in fashion. A conservative tweed can compliment a crop top, even though traditionally we might think not. Contrast and juxtaposition can be the center piece to personal style and individual aesthetic. Playing with styles is intrinsic to our fashion self discovery. There are no rules, but to be you.
