Down In DC!

“The world is a book and those who do not travel only read one page” – St. Augustine.

Whether it is a day trip, a road trip, a weekend get away or two week vacation, traveling is something we can all do. It acts as a large inspiration to me in my life. On my recent trip to Washington DC, I toured the Georgetown area. The quaint township just outside the nation’s capital was simplistically idyllic. As I roamed the chilly streets I loved the wearable fashion and how the dress of DC was functional and fashionable. The down jacket was a staple and pairing it with hip jeans and cool kicks was certainly sensical and chic. Add your own accessories, like my leopard fanny, to individualize the look.

Jesse went military, which is certainly apropos. Adding a cool beanie and edgy boots, his look was wearable and functional too. Comfort is key when sightseeing, and when temps drop, you definitely want to be cozy and cool at the same time. So, head down to DC and get down when you do!
