Just because it’s Fall, doesn’t mean we have to say bye to color! In fact, this season you can find lots of shades on the street. Having Sunday brunch with my friends was a perfect time to debut a transitional Fall trend and keep the color coming in the chill!
Some call it “pastel”; others “ice” – whatever the adjective my pop of pink warmed up my cool clothing!
It’s not yet freezing so to pay my last homage to the heat, I took these pink high waisted Finder’s Keepers shorts out for some fun! They’re loose fitting and oh, so feminine and are just the right touch for some brunch!
Staying the pink palette, I stayed seasonal by pairing the shorts with this oversized For Love and Lemmons knit. It’s cozy and comfortable. The texture gives the look depth and pulls in the appropriate feel for Fall.
I added a neutral bag so as not to distract from the predominant color and to keep the look girly!
Again, to keep the focus on the palette and stay on style, I chose some nude shoes to elongate the leg and keep the bottom half light and clean, since the knit is big and bulky.
And yes, you’re right, in my hair is a pink barrette which stays in line with the playful lady like feel. It’s fun and fresh!
How do you like my Sunday style ?
