Pulling Ponchos!

Fall is officially here and all I can think about is great outerwear! This is my favorite time of year and mainly because of the fashion. The cozy and romantic feel of bundling up in statement styles elate me to an uncalculated degree. This year for me, its all about the poncho! I know for some this is an antiquated South American fashion tradition built on woven fabrics and synonymous with loud patterns and color, but think again. Modernizing this piece has given options and counterparts to its sister designs: the shawl and the coat. With a contemporary look, the poncho has manifested itself into a chic, sophisticated and must have Fall fashion find. From fur, to cashmere to wool and more, the poncho is the piece to put on and I for one, am ready to wear it! There is just one thing to remember, when pulling a poncho, pull no punches!
