The runways right now are full of spring collections and it has me spring dreaming. Same boat? Playing with this season’s spring styles and adjusting them to winter weather only requires minimal adjustments. Firstly, and obviously a coat for all occasions. But beyond that, start playing with light colors, bold patterns and different fabrics. I love this Raf Simmons look for Calvin Klein. The soft spring skirt paired with a bulky sweater with pops of color add the nostaglia of spring and the textures of winter. The plastic over throw gives added chill protection and keeps the look reminiscent of fall. You could easily wear a strappy sandal in spring, but during the winter, a boot pairs nicely. I chose a snakeskin print, which is easily identified as a winter wardrobe piece. Tada! You’re ready for spring to spring and not ignoring winter’s end.
