How Stella Brought The 70s (With A Taste Of The 90s) Back!

From Woodstock to Burning Man through Coachella, “festival style” has always been infused with a touch of rock n’ roll, a sprinkle of retro, and a lot of effortlessness. As the modern day flare for fashionista reinvention expands through our culture, I cannot help but notice, trends from times passed. In fact, there really isn’t much “new” to the styles I see. High waisted jean shorts; I think we will have to thank Cindy Crawford and Pepsi for that fashion statement. Fringe and cut offs; thank you rebellious women of the late 60s and early 70s. Body suits; I’ve seen you before on Jane Fonda and countless other gyrating video vixens in the late 80s and early 90s. In fact, nothing is new, its just invigorated. Correct, Forever 21 didn’t invent these looks, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy them while paying homage to where they came from!
