White Is For Rule Breakers

As a firm believer in year-round white and for a plethora of other reasons, I am so pleased that the “rules” of fashion have gone out the window. The fact that not wearing a certain color after a certain date was ever a rule is honestly quite ridiculous if you think about it. As Labor Day has come and gone, my white cotton dress, denim, and every other colorless look you can think of is here to stay. There is something so clean and crisp about a white ensemble that makes me want to stand a little taller. It makes me wonder how anyone was ever willing to give that feeling up for part of the year. Following your Labor Day, I encourage you to break the rules in favor of what makes you feel confident and stand a little taller no matter what you’re wearing.
