Casual Friday

When the end of the week rolls around, the last thing you want to do (if you’re anything like me) is get all dolled up for your last working day. I get it. I also get, you don’t want to let your style completely fade, or maybe your job requires you to still look the part. Enter “casual Fridays'”. Looking polished and effortless is the goal and the easiest was to accomplish that is with basics. Start with a classic denim. Keep the color classic and the fit neutral. Throw on a cozy white top, it’s elegant, neutral and (again) classic. For those of you in the cold, a cable knit sweater will do the trick. Finish out your ensemble with a heel. If you are feeling funky, a cool color and platform heel will give you pazazz. If you need to stay more professional a pump equally does the trick. And the final touch? Supplement your bag or brief case for a chic fanny pack, the a-la bag of the moment. With your Friday look, you’ll be weekend ready and office approved.
