A woman’s duality is her most powerful trait. It disarms those who underestimate her ability to be strong and feminine. It reminds me of the punk genre, where women could mix their feminine aesthetic with masculine accents and create a versatility that was stylistically a combination of both aspects of her persona. Why should we have to choose between two parts of our identity, when we encompass both? I can wear a dress or a skirt and not be bound to 6 inch stilettos, right? As soon as I saw these Valentino boots, I knew they were mine. Pairing any similar style with a short skirt let’s you command and control your image, not society’s standards for you. So, rock on!
