The biggest misconception I hear from burgeoning fashionistas are “rules”. It really seems as though antiquated ideologies encumber the progressive expression that young women feel. That should never be the case. The only rule is: feel good.
Playing with patterns and prints, textures and fabrics, color and tones – that’s part of the fun. Taking these snake print boots and adding them to a corduroy jumper may in theory not sound like a perfect pairing, but it’s all in the styling and attitude. Especially during transition, when spring is on the horizon, but winter hasn’t quite passed, it’s ok to play with heavier textures and marry them with quintessentially summer items.
Having fun is always key!
