Just because I am wearing a skirt does not make me less capable than you. Just because I am wearing a skirt does not mean that I am vapid or superficial. It does not disqualify me or impugn my ability to be as good as you or anyone else. Just because I am wearing a skirt does not mean my credentials are less substantial. It doesn’t effect my strength, my intelligence, my thoughtfulness or any aspect of my viability. Beauty and brains are not mutually exclusive, neither is style and substance, strength and femininity or another duality that frightens you and threatens your security. Your perception of my skirt is your disability to see me clearly. Just because I wear a skirt means nothing except the fact that you are too weak to see past anything other then your antiquated ideas of what capable is.
