Unless you are living under a rock, the proverbial “fashion” rock that is, you know that it’s that time of year again. Yes, you know what I am talking about. It is the heavily descended upon, highly coveted, and not to be missed week in February that draws the fashion elite to the frigid climate of the east coast winters. It’s New York Fashion Week. Twice a year the fashion world comprised of influencers, designers, actresses, editors, models and socialites flock to the center of New York City to view the newest collections, latest trends and most anticipated looks of the upcoming season. Getting a ticket, let alone a front row seat to one of the best shows of the season is nearly impossible, but don’t worry, I have you covered. Along with Amazon Style Code Live, I take you behind the scenes; from backstage to front row to get a taste of what this experience is actually like.
For my first show of the season I took in the feminine, yet strong stylings of Milly. Designed by Michelle Smith, this very fun and girlie collection was juxtaposed with a since of masculine strength. The addition of menswear inspired pieces only elevated this very female focused style. Dressed head to toe in Milly (of course) and with Style Code Live by my side, I headed out to the show.
