The velvet trend is unavoidable. It’s everywhere you turn. I for one am not opposed to the aesthetic. In fact, it enacts a luxe and elevated sensibility that compliments the winter theme. Obviously, living in Los Angeles, temperatures only drop so low, therefore, I have to be malleable to the climate and its restrictions. If I were in New York, I’d happily go full throttle on this style. For now, my LA interpretation will have to suffice. In any locale, this fashion moment can be worn and will inevitably leave you feeling stylish and right on theme.
