Just because it’s summer doesn’t mean sophisticated style has to take a hit. I tend to think of fall as the more adult version of the fashion year and summer as its rebellious counter part. I think perhaps the barely there, sun bearing styles tend to lack fabric and therefore creates a more revealing look. However, you don’t have to be married to cut offs, maxis, and moo-moos. There are other options. For instance, I love this updated summer suit. The modern take on a business like ensemble makes the look universal for work or play. The duality of sophistication and youth is balanced. The lightness and elegance is perfect for the season. I love the contemporary play on an old staple. Feeling both feminine and strong, while retaining my style and poise is never a fashion fail.
