Making A Vow To All Future Bridesmaids

Bridesmaids: beware of unflattering, unfashionable, unwanted gowns! There is absolutely nothing worse than having to compromise your style for your BFF bride-to-be or your wallet for a one-time gown that has you looking and feeling like a girl band gone bad. As a future aisle-walker myself, ensuring my wedding day aesthetic and my friend’s style integrity remain intact has been at the forefront of my mind. Breaking the bank? No thanks. Keeping the chic? Yes, please.

In partnership with Monique Lhuillier, one of my all-time favorite designers, and pioneering genius Vow To Be Chic, being a bridesmaid just went from #basic to red-carpet-ready in one amazing, exclusive design called–you guessed it–the “Cara.” Subtly sweet, independently glamorous and quintessentially Monique, the “Cara” instantly assuages those fashion faux pas fears of going bridesmaid yet again next year. And the year after that. And… Affordable and accessible, you can choose from an array of colors without compromising dream shoes in the process. Fashion-forward while seamlessly transitioning to a variety of occasions, this dress can be easily styled to suit a myriad of weddings. A designer bridesmaid dress that looks good, is affordable and can actually be worn again? Oh, yes.

Last week in New York City, behind the beautiful garden doors of Ladurée in Manhattan’s Soho neighborhood, I helped celebrate this launch with some of my favorite local girlfriends. We sipped rosé, snacked on macaroons and waxed poetic on all things nuptial in true bridal shower style. There is so much to consider when becoming a bride and, thanks to Vow to Be Chic, bridesmaid dresses can now swiftly be checked off that list. Catch a sneak peak of the “Cara,” available now at Vow To Be Chic!
