My Must-Have Spring Trends!

Every fashion girl knows that the best part of spring cleaning is making room in your closet for the new season’s styles. Spring is the perfect time to put away those bulky coats and boots and bring out your favorite florals, lightweight layers, and gladiator sandals. Like many of you, I was struggling with how to fill all the new space made in my closet, and that’s why I’ve come up with my some of my must-have spring trends. I’ll be picking up many of these in the next couple weeks as weather in LA continues to heat up in anticipation of summer!

Footwear – Make a casual statement in flatforms, flat mules or gladiator sandals. Time to put aside your uncomfortable heels and pick up a pair of these stylish spring essentials. You can dress them up or down, with jeans or dresses – they might just become your new favorite (and your feet will thank you).

Bags – Mix up your accessory game with my top picks for spring. Half-moon bags or backpacks have the power to really make a casual low-key statement. Every girl needs a new bag best friend when the seasons finally start to change. Wear the half-moon bag cross-body to hold the basics, and don’t be afraid to fill your backpack to the brim with all the necessities for the girl-on-the-go.

Dresses – One of my picks for a must-have for spring has to be a statement dress. That’s right. Dresses for spring? I know, it’s legendary. But this season, designers are coming out with the perfect mix of Victorian or 80’s inspired looks. Look for high necks or lace for a Victorian look-alike, and for those girls who are looking to honor one of my favorite decades, major buttons are such a modern way to bring the 80’s to present day.

Innerwear as outerwear – There is something so sexy about donning a slip dress or bustier inspired look out on the town. These looks are no longer reserved for private moments at home or worn under clothes. For a casual athleisure inspired look, try the Calvin Klein High-Neck Tank Top, you’ll be surprised by how many times you’ll wear it, I promise. Anything silky or slinky tops my list for must-have trends for spring. Pair your slip dress with your favorite pair of heels and a statement lip, and you’re sure to be noticed on any night out.

Jewelry – Take a styling tip from the Coachella pros and mix a festival favorite into your everyday wardrobe. For spring, my must-have accessory has to be chokers. They’re the perfect mix of casual while really adding a sometimes much needed statement around your neck. For a cocktail party, add a choker to a deep-v jumpsuit, and for a more everyday look, try out a choker with a bodysuit.
